Spin-On Hydraulic Filter – Key Features

These filters are specifically designed for mobile applications. The head is installed directly in-line with the circuit and is equipped with a bypass valve and/or filter contamination indicators. The filter cartridge contains a filtration element housed within a durable metal canister. Depending on the required filtration level, the element is made from cellulose or synthetic filter media. The element is then secured to the filter head by screwing it into position, hence the name "spin-on cartridge."

The advantage of this type of filtration is the speed and ease with which the filter can be replaced — reducing downtime and labor costs. This is particularly beneficial for mobile machinery where filter changes often need to be performed in the field.

Spin-on filters are used in suction and return lines.
