Electric motors
Electric motors for hydraulic power units
Electric motors are the basic drive element in hydraulic power units and hydraulic aggregates. They transmit torque to the hydraulic pump, determining flow stability and the pressure parameters of the entire hydraulic power system.
IE3 and IE4 efficiency classes
According to current EU regulations, motors in IE3 and IE4 efficiency classes are becoming the market standard. Higher efficiency means reduced energy losses and lower operating costs, especially in applications working in continuous duty S1 mode.
Operating parameters of motors for hydraulics
- High efficiency: reduced heat losses and lower annual energy consumption.
- Durability: insulation class F and IP55 protection ensure resistance to dust and moisture in industrial environments.
- Modularity: availability of B3, B5, B35 and B14 mounting versions, with the possibility of integration with encoders, brakes and frequency inverters.
Starting torque and overload capacity
In hydraulic power systems, high motor starting torque and the ability to handle short-term overloads caused by pressure spikes are critical. Proper selection of motor power and characteristics directly affects the reliability of the hydraulic power unit and the service life of the pump.
