160 bar in tight machine installations
When a 1SN DN12 hose does not fit the installation or has to run on a bend that is too tight, a compact 1SC hose is the answer. HAGRIX 1SC0800HAG handles 160 bar working pressure with a minimum bend radius of 70 mm – much smaller than that of a 1SN DN12 hose (180 mm to EN 853).

Use the HAGRIX H001C-08 ferrule – a no-skive ferrule for 1/2" hoses. The outer cover does not need to be removed before crimping, which shortens assembly time.

Can a 1SC hose replace a 1SN DN12 hose?
In terms of working pressure, yes – both are rated at 160 bar. The 1SC hose has a smaller bend radius (70 mm instead of 180 mm), so it performs better in tight installations. Always match the ferrule to the hose type – for 1SC0800HAG use H001C-08.
Can the hose be used for water?
Yes, at temperatures from 0 to +70 °C. For water-based fluids (e.g. water-glycol) the range is -40…+70 °C.
When should I choose a 2SC hose instead of 1SC in size DN12?
The single-braid 1SC0800HAG hose is rated at 160 bar. If the system needs higher pressure, choose the two-braid 2SC0800HAG hose: 275 bar with a bend radius of 90 mm. Both use the same H001C-08 ferrule.
