Chromed steel hydraulic bars for piston rods

Chrome plated steel bars are used for manufacturing piston rods in hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. Hard chrome coating provides high resistance to wear, corrosion and mechanical damage. Available in metric and inch diameters with cutting and machining services.

• CK45 – standard hard chrome plated bars.
• 20MnV6 – excellent weldability for structural applications.
• 42CrMo4 – heat treated steel for heavy-duty applications.

Induction Hardened Chrome Bars

• CK45 induction hardened – surface hardness min. HRC 54.
• 42CrMo4 Q+T – surface hardness min. HRC 54.
